Over the three\nevenings, more than 40,000 entry tickets will have\nbeen scanned at the Rotterdam Ahoy doors. \"A process that needs to work quickly and\nsmoothly\", says Van Loon.<\/p>\n<p>Van Loon maintains that scanners that Ticketpoint previously used did not meet the\ndemands necessary for providing a proper service: \"Actually you could hardly describe\nthat solution as scanners. They were phones converted into a scanning solution with the\naid of a holder and cables. Really flimsy; there was always something going wrong, or\nwe\u2019d have problems recharging them. This frequently led to stressful situations.\"<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-accent-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\">The Solution<\/h5>\n\n\n<p>That stress has come to an end with the switch to Datalogic\u2019s Joya\u2122 Touch handheld\nscanners. \"It really is a world of difference. We connect the equipment, connect to the\nWi-Fi network, download the barcodes and get started. Datalogic's partner advises\nTicketpoint, provides the briefing and all servicing. In addition, JNC has completely\ncustomized the scanners. This is not just about software settings. The Joya\u2019s look &amp; feel\nis also completely custom-made.
