It's time for the Datalogic Joya Touch 22 to retire.
This means it's time for a new model, the Datalogic Joya Smart (and Smart+).
It is the biggest change in years, in terms of design, charging stations but also in terms of specifications.

The new Joya Smart (and Smart+) offer a lot in terms of 'Self Shopping‘. The devices are perfect for use in shops but also theaters will be very happy with that new model. Because of the wireless charging system there is much less maintenance required regarding charging contacts. The scanners can be charged in a 1- or 3-slot charger (with or without locking systeem. The battery with a capacity of 3500 mAh should be enough to last a workday.
The camera on the back of the scanner can be used intelligently using integrated AI algorithms. In addition, the device also has a NFC chip which allows payments to be made via the Tap&Go principle.
The scanners offer a IP54 certification and drops from 1,3m height on concrete without a protective cover. For extra protection, the device can be fitted with a protective cover (94ACC0431) and a screenprotector for the display.
